Happy world photo day! We can’t lie, as lovers of photography this is something we are particularly excited about. Whether it is your full time job or if you just use photography as a hobby for the weekends, it’s hard to deny that photos are a wonderful way to capture special memories, great landscapes and quite frankly; just about anything! But don’t let your great photography skills to waste. Who is going to get to view your beautiful shots when they’re stuck on a memory card or device? Use your photos this world photo day to create something truly unique. If you're stuck for ideas, we’ve put together a list of 6 great things you can do with your images!
1. Create collaged letters
Collaged letters are a great way to display your photos. They make great decorations for your home or impressive gifts for loved ones. You’ll even have a great time making them. A simple and cost effective way to show off your photos, your collaged letter is sure to get lots of compliments. All you have to do is print off a selection of your favourite photos (small enough to make a collage) and stick them onto your chosen letter. You can pick up polystyrene letters from most craft shops; some even offer wooden and cardboard options. If you aren’t able to get to a craft shop however, you can simply use a cutout of any suitable spare material you find around your home.

Most of us store our favourite photos within our phones. Pictures from days out, pictures of your children or pictures with your best friends; your phone is practically a photo album. But why not show off your favourite photos on the exterior of your device? After all, no one will see them when they are hidden away in your phone. A personalised phone case is a great way to add a unique touch to your device and give it a splash of personality. Creating a unique case is simple. We have a great range for you to choose from which can be found here
3. Create your own polaroid bunting
Polaroid bunting is a great alternative to framing your favourite photos. It’s a great idea for those of you who try to move away from a traditional look in your home. It’s simple to make too. If you have a polaroid camera, you’ll have your images already sorted. If not, there are plenty of websites where you can print your photos in a polaroid style. All you need then is some string, ribbon or wire (your choice!) and some mini pegs which are easy to find in any craft store. And voila! Your bunting will be ready to add a statement to any room.

5. Create one of a kind envelopes
For a long time now we have been able to personalise cards using our own photos. But what about using your images to create a unique envelope? I’m sure there are plenty of places you can do this online, but it is just as easy to do yourself. All you have to do is get yourself some envelopes, print out your photos and cut/stick them so they fit exactly in the folded down part of the envelope. If you’re sending someone a letter or a greetings card, this is a perfect way to do something a little different. They almost certainly won’t be expecting it but it will be a nice surprise.
